What does that have to do with anything. This thread is about Copeland and his ability to be able to play DL in the SEC.

Well, guess we know to avoid your talent evaluations in the future.

so you guys aren't playing an SEC-calibre DL right now b/c he's occupied at fullback?

judging from last saturday, LSU could use the depth.

It's a bet. Do you not know how bets work?

IIRC he was asked early on in his recruitment if he wanted to play fullback and he said yes. So your argument has no basis what so ever because he knew he was playing fullback before getting on campus

Good for him. Still has no bearing on UGA not recruiting him because they felt, and it appears correctly, that he isn't able to play DL in the SEC.

Im not sure why this is such a big deal to LSU fans. Had he gone to LSU and proven that he could play DL, he would have been able to throw that in the faces of the UGA coaches, but he went to LSU and proved them right.

So you think they should move the three year letterman at fullback because some underclassmen left early? Lot of low IQ football fans in this thread. Wow.

Freak's back up Quentin Thomas did not play. Is back for UGA. We have depth, just really inexperienced.

It is not a big deal, we needed a fullback right away and he was willing to do it. LSU has had a lot of success switching players positions. He is a helluva FB and glad to have him

It's a bet then. He will get drafted. Sig line from draft to fall camp starting.

of course you don't move him at this point. If he had the potential, odds are he would've played the position from day one.

I can't believe when yall couldn't stop anyone last year that Auburn didn't move Lutzy to DT. What an idiot Chizik is. See how monumentally stupid that is? No, of course you don't. Some low IQ fans in this place.

Before receiving this news I thought this game could go either way. After hearing this I'm thinking this game won't be close. I just don't see how you can stop an angry fullback.

I'm thinking LSU may incorporate sometime of angry fullback package where he takes a direct snap and blocks himself into the endzone.

Take the Bet or shutup. Or just keep on crawfishing. Why are you in an LSU uga thread anyway?

Normally, that argument would be very convincing. In this specific case, LSU has put defensive tackles in the NFL at an astounding clip. When you have Nevis, and Brockers, and Logan, and Downs, and Johnson, and Ferguson during that time period, you can only play two DTs at a time. Might as well get a freak athlete on the field.
