Daniels is one of the best players in the country, no doubt about that. It all comes down to if LSU wins out. If they lose again and he looks average, then he's not winning.

The other issue is I don't see Michigan and OU losing so you have McCarthy and Gabriel to deal with, both top 3 Vegas odds to win. Plus, dont discount Carson Beck. He has good numbers and is about to play 4 straight ranked teams.

Heisman's are won in November. At this point his senior year, Kyler Murray had the 5th best odds to win.

On Nov 4th JD secures his spot in NY after winning at Bama and winning the West back-2-back seasons

Actual graphic in the previous thread.

Bryce's last 5 games are what won him the trophy, though.

158/238 (66%)
2,240 yards (448 YPG)
9.4 YPA
19 TD / 0 INT
Average game last 5 : 31/47, 448 yards, 4 TD/0 INT

Mainly the capper - 26/44 for 421 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs vs #1 Georgia in Atlanta.

A bigger waste than Bryce then. At least Alabama won the SEC and played for a national title in his Heisman year. LSU had two losses before September was over.

How’d that skinny qb for LSU do vs Georgia? Didn’t Nussmeyer come in and LSU fans wondered why he wasn’t the starter all year

I’m sorry you think this comp is as basic as slapping some stats next to each other.

U should be an nfl scout. You seem very adept at cut-and-paste.

Yes...

If JD goes "26/44 for 421 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs vs #1 Georgia in Atlanta," he should get the heisman

Was that Bryce's Heisman year? Or the next year?
