Let me reiterate. It’s just amazing how badly Burrow broke you. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving.
Specifically, the last few minutes of the first half. That was the most brutal part of the game for Bama. That’s also coincidentally when the Tua ankle excuse started back up.prior to that - he was good to go according to everyone

Wow! Didn't realize that. He's definitely a skinny fella like Bryce but I'm shocked by his height. 6'4" isn't small.
LSU says he's 210 now, which means he's put on about 20 lbs since he transferred here.
He'll probably put on a few more before the combine.

He didn’t play two drives correct?

He was in on the first play of the 2nd to last drive. Nuss came in and finished the series. 4 plays total, not including the punt. JD played one, Nuss played 3.

If I recall we took a timeout and never actually snapped the ball with Daniels out there after his injury.

That’s correct. JD was in for one play, sustained the injury, and Nuss finished the final 3 plays.

Sorry, I fricked that up.

Not that it’s terribly relevant, but I don’t think it counts as an actual play if you don’t snap the ball.

Three. He was targeted out of the game, missed that drive, and Nuss was in for two more drives. Would you rather say 2.5?

It doesn’t. I wasn’t counting that play. He took the first snap of the series and sustained the injury from Turner. Penalty was stepped off. He goes back out but doesn’t snap the ball again before timeout was called. Nuss came in and finished the final 3 plays. 4 total snaps on offense.

This is incorrect. He started the 2nd to last drive for LSU before being injured. He took one snap, Nuss took 3. 1/4 = .25. So he missed 1.75 drives.

He took one snap
Again, I don’t believe he ever took a snap when he came out to start that drive. They called timeout before he did.

He is elite. I shudder to think about how good that 2019 offense would be with JD playing QB.
I doubt it would be much better, you can only be so great.
Daniels still frequently misses open receivers and scrambles instead where Burrow probably just makes the throw.

That is incorrect. His injury was sustained on the first snap of that series. The previous drive was the INT.
According to ESPN’s play by play summary, the injury occurred on the first play of LSU’s 9th drive, at the 12:54 mark. Alabama called the timeout after the penalty. Nuss came in to finish the drive.

In the 3 losses Daniels averaged 21/32 for 326 yards, with 2.3 TDs and 0.7 int passing, and 109 yards on 14 carries, with 0.3 TD rushing. That's a total average of 435 yards and 3 TDs per loss. It would be criminal to hold those losses against him.
Mind you those were all on the Road (Neutral Site FSU) against top 10 opponents. He also has a road win against Top 10 Missouri.
None of the other candidates have that.

I don't recall that being the case. I'll stand corrected if so, of course. I'd have to go watch it again, though I'm fairly confident on it.
Even then, it's still a two possession game with at least two drives he was taken out for.

You sound mad.

I looked up the measurables. He's taller too, so that means even more of a slender frame. Probably explains why he gets blown up by Ole Miss DBs. He won't be able to stay on the field.
