Just throwing it out there. I know Te'o has had a solid year and he's a great guy, has a great story, but Jones is twice the linebacker and his story is pretty dang inspiring too.

Sorry been working on stuff all night and just saw Te'o won it, just wanted to throw that out there, Jarvis getting dissed, but he'll have a much better NFL career. (He'll be drafted higher too.)

Teo > Jarvis as a pro.

The Teo hate is ridiculous.

No the Teo love is ridiculous. The fact that he is even being talked about as a heisman finalist is fricking retarded.

They aren't lying about the ND hype machine. We've forgotten about it. We'll come to hate it again -- but I'm too Bamasessed to root against the Irish.

fricking this.

There are at least five players in the nation with better stats and actual impact than Teo (see Jarvis, Clowney, Damontre Moore), yet he gets the nod because ND is undefeated. bullshite.

Jarvis should have gotten it. He is an outstanding player.

If those frickers give Teo the Heisman I will kick some kittens.

Yeah.. Make no mistake, if T'eo was not on the team, there would be someone else getting Heisman consideration on the ND squad. It's just media hype/love for the school. It's the same reason AJ McCarron got so much Heisman hype.. He's good, but he's not HEISMAN good. When you play for a high profile team it amplifies your stock.

ETA: Especially a high profile team that every ESPN reporter would get on their knees for, AKA ND.

Jarvis is a game changer. He beat Missouri and Florida in the 4th quarter by himself because he can take over games. Te'O is a good player, but not Heisman good.

Without Te'O, Notre Dame is still probably 10-2 or 11-1, possibly even still unbeaten.

Without Klein, Kansas State is a 6 win team.

Without Manziel, A&M is a 6-7 win team.

No WAY he gets the Heisman...defensive players never do. However...how are you going to give the definsive awards to ANY team outside the SEC? Give me a fricking break...its all about ESPN turning his face into a Toaster Strudel.

Give me Jarvis Jones... Teo is everyone's sentimental pick. He is a good player and leader, but he isnt really a "game-changer" like Jones.

And he turned Bama to a one-demensional team. Which did suck because UGA could not stop the run? But it balanced out because Bama could not stop UGA's passing attack. Oops, got off topic. Yes, Jarvis is a game changer. Someone in the SEC should have gotten it over ND. Being undefeated was the deciding factor I reckon.

Te'o is the 3rd best linebacker in the country behind Jarvis Jones and CJ Mosley

If they are gonna award someone for ND's undefeated regular season it should be the ref that screwed Stanford on the goal-line.
