He came from a power 5 school and actually got development there so I think he'll be fine.

He was injured two times in the three games he started(one of which he sucked). I doubt he makes it to game 5 intact.

Why can't Gus develop his own QBs? Why does he always need other program's QBs to play for him? Wasn't he once a QB coach?

It is one practice. He looked great in the spring. If he fails, I will be happy to jump on the hate Gus bus with you, but it is one practice. Gus turned a DB into a pretty good SEC QB. And Cam only got better the longer his season went on.

The Rant has overhyped its own BS so much that they can't even remember the truth anymore.
Funny to watch the rant narrative change year to year.
This time last year with Sean White the line was "Gus can't develop his own QBs. He only wins when he brings in JUCO QBs that somebody else developed. Lol".
Now AU does that and the line changes to "Yeah... well. Member that time JJ got hyped and he didn't work out? That always happens to Auburn. Lol"
Anytime the Rant decides to judge an AU QB in the preseason the rant is ALWAYS wrong. Id bet it holds up this season too.
2010- "JuCo QBs NEVER work out in the SEC. Brent Schaeffer 2.0, Cam Newton gonna suck. Lol"

Stidham throws a very catchable ball into a tight window. That is why he has the hype and why he will be successful. There are plenty of QBs in College football that can throw 90 MPH fastballs or can hit a receiver in shorts at a 7 on 7 tournament, but few have what Stidham provides. Keep dreaming.
