The briles system was known to be an easy system to run. Wonder how much that stunted his development.

Yes. Unless Starkel and Mond meltdown meltdown during fall practice it's highly unlikely he'd go with Hubes. If he was that hard up for a vet w/experience he'd have gone after Stidham who was damn near begging for an A&M scholly to the point he was showing up to games uninvited.

Also, keep in mind that Nick Starkel was recruited by Mazzone when he was still at UCLA and that Sumlin let's his OC decide who the QB will be.
