Georgia most likely has the same record, or worse, if he stays.

He wore his Wake Forrest helmet, too.

This was a change made after initially advertising his acceptance with a UGA picture. Fans jumped on that pretty hard since he never played a down for us. Fans can be stupid and overzealous sometimes, but he had no business wearing Red and Black anything IMHO.

Maybe if people start calling things for what they are, some of this nonsense will stop.

That isn't gonna happen. The PC crowd is more concerned with feelings than facts.

I remember this guy being praised as the next prodigal QB.

Dawg Nation is a joke for believing themselves.

Good chance we beat Florida with Newman at qb. Just because he was rusty as frick after quitting doesn’t disprove uga fans.

Why, for believing this kid could win the Heisman? He has all the tools, put that with playmakers on offense and a good OC and he could've been right there in the Heisman talk. If he would've played and would've played up to par there is no telling what he and UGA could've accomplished

How? It’s a paycheck to play a game and a chance to improve draft stock.

And tRant still wonders why it was worth $21 million to fire Gustav.

Congrats on winning your super bowl

Too bad it’s not an actual championship

Uga whipped auburn for our most recent championship.

As for the super bowl, Florida fans say that game is our super bowl. Y’all need to talk this out and get back to us once y’all have reached a decision.

Do you really think Harsin is gonna be the guy who elevates auburn to above uga level?

He was also a known commodity from his time at Wake with better WRs than UGA had with very meh stats. The hype was a grand delusion on the part of dog posters. Dude is/was average to below average as a QB. He is an underwhelming passer and decision maker, doesn’t read ads very well. His “tools” are a strong arm and athletic.

Smokeyone wrong about uga again? Typical.

The heisman hype actually came from Las Vegas heisman odds, not uga posters.

As for his tools, the accurate deep passes were the main one, and what did we miss most before JTD? Deep balls.

Go back to august on any forum dog fans post on you will see pure unadulterated hype for a very average to below average Jamie Newman. Even you bought into it.

Uga would have been better with him, as he was elite at our weakness, and he had zero shot at heisman.

Now let’s talk about where you went so wrong...

“Uga fans excited over the new qb” =/= “Uga fans claiming he is gonna win the heisman”

Of course you conflated the two very different things. What is actually said is always different than your interpretation of what you think is said.
