It didn't change the outcome against Arizona and Notre Dame the next two weeks

Booty sat out the next three games. Carroll even admitted later he shouldn't have put Booty back in the game after getting injured.
In any case, it's pointless arguing about that. We still have our bowl game to look forward to. Franklin will have his real chance to prove himself.

Stanford beating USC in 07 was an absolute fluke. Just like this year, and the year before, and the year before that...

I never said Booty didn't sit out. For Carrol to keep Booty in with a fractured finger over putting in a backup qb should tell you how much faith he had in Sanchez, yet they still won the next 2 games with Sanchez.
The fact that you are blaming the loss on a qb and giving no credit to Harbaugh when that USC defense and offense was loaded with NFL players is laughable.
Using your logic, Franklin's win shouldn't count against Mizzou because James Franklin didn't play qb.
Also, James Franklin is 0-2 against injured qbs. He lost to an injured Zach Collaros and Tyler Bray last year.

Nothing but respect for Franklin and Vandy. They've played competitively against everyone except Georgia, almost beat some 'Cock, and scratched out some good wins against decent teams. Franklin is recruiting better than Vandy ever has done.

For those who are wondering about Franklin here's my earlier thread.

Anyone who doesn't understand the job Franklin has done at Vanderbilt doesn't understand football, and the history of Vanderbilt football in the SEC.

I will bet anybody in here a lifetime ban that he will be gone within 3 years.
