This is about winning when it counts and character. Jalen's got it. Tua less so.

If he stays healthy, yes.

He should finish this game with 500 yards combined passing & rushing and 6 TDs.

Unfortunately for Jalen he'll have the stigma for getting benched for Tua. It's not fair but it won't go away.

He'll do well in the Big 12 though.

Houston's almost always been a decent team over the last 10 years. Much better than a lot of teams in the ACC including Duke.

Because I'm not trolling, Jesus Christ. What is wrong with you people. Why can't you just be happy for Jalen Hurts?

But Houston's D was ranked #106 last year, so really this troll fails all levels

Actually, worse than that---it was Georgia State
at 124th, San Jose St. 125 and Houston with
the 126th worst defense in the nation. They appear
headed for the defense bowels of hell again this season.

Dude it's just week 1. How do you know they haven't improved and are just struggling against a great OU offense?

Agree. Big 12 is trash. He will have video game numbers

It’s so much easier in a weak small conference that doesn’t play defense

This will get a lot of downvotes by Bama fans but Jalen will win the Heisman.

This is what cracks me up about you guys... you bash the big 12 defenses and then proceed to give up more yards than some of the big 12 defenses when we face you... give it a rest.

I hope him and Tua are both in NYC at the ceremony together. Their path together and apart will be a legendary story.

I highly doubt Dana Holgorsen turned around a dumpster fire of a defense

What Bama fans *should* be saying instead of arguing.

Sure. They love Jalen who came in to save their season which would have died when Tua had to face a great defense.

They don't seem to love it when neutral fans like myself say great things about a QB they so quickly gave up on.
