Probably not a good idea to attack your own fellow Bama fans. Just a suggestion

Man, some of you are incapable of being rational when talking about Milroe. Y'all would be losing y'all's minds even more over him if he was putting up these kind of stats:

Much better than Milroe. Milroe is the worst full time starting QB since 2007. He’s awful.
Which of these quarterbacks would people here say is better?
QB A
QB B
QB A is John Parker Wilson. QB B is Jalen Milroe.
And that is just passing. Add rushing and it isn’t even close.

The Saban era has really clouded your memory. Alabama had decades of mid QB play until he got there with few exceptions

Why? I dislike dumbass Alabama fans more than I dislike dumbass fans of other schools because the dumbass Alabama fans reflect poorly on Alabama. Anyone who says Milroe is the worst QB at Alabama in 20 years is a dumbass.
Milroe may be the most boneheaded quarterback, but statistics clearly prove he isn’t the worst quarterback.

Jalen can beat your team or his team.
It is documented for you already.

I think Milroe has taken this team
As far as he's capable of doing.
We won't win a Natty with him under center & it's quite obvious.
He panics too much & therefore to
Inconsistent. He's talented yes, but
Not Championship talented.

While their playing styles are different, he reminds me of Jameis Winston. He will almost always be the MVP of the game. You just can’t be sure for which team.

I’ve heard people say “kick drop a puppy“ but I’ve never heard that one. That doesn’t sound too bad.

The one who didn't lose to Vanderbilt for one. I'd gladly take 2008 JPW over Milroe. We'd likely be 11- 1 instead of 9-3. Milroe is terrible.

no you wouldn't, not with this year's Alabama defense and running game.

JPW didn't have to do much of anything in 2008 because the run game and defense carried that team. It was also a really weird year where the SECW was awful. Ole Miss (5-3) finished 2nd in the West. 3-5 LSU finished 3rd in the West, and JPW needed OT to beat that LSU team who threw 4 picks, one of which was returned for a TD
You put JPW on the 2024 team where Milroe is expected to go out and win games, I think you'd be in for a rude awakening. Milroe has had plenty of wtf moments, but he is a lot better than you're giving him credit for

We won’t ever know how JPW would have done on this year’s Alabama team. But we do know how he did in 2008. Alabama ended the season on a two game losing streak including against Utah in a meaningless bowl game. That loss got as much or more ridicule from national media than Vandy this season.

Don't be so sure. I was watching Bear Bryant in the 70s.
So have I. You my want to get checked for Alzheimer’s.
Jalen Milroe isn’t to the level of QBs over the last decade or so but to say he’s worse than players like Spencer Pennington and Brandon Avalos is beyond ridiculous. Beyond those two obvious ones, he’s no worse than guys like Freddie Kitchens who had many of the same maddening tendencies as Milroe and he’s far more talented than early Saban QBs like Greg McElroy and John Parker Wilson.
We’d all like to have another NFL first round QB under center, but the fact that we don’t doesn’t mean the guy’s a total bum. Further, two completely different staffs(both with a history of high level success) have evaluated the QB room and says he’s he guy. I’m comfortable admitting they know a lot more than me and pretty much every other fan sitting in the stands or on the recliner every Saturday afternoon.

Many of the QBs you named were surrounded by much less talent. So who knows how good they could have been. Greg McElroy won a NC and he was bad. Sims took us to a NC game and he was a converted RB. Its all subjective so we'll just agree to disagree. I can't wait for the day Milroe never returns.

I realize Milroe shredded LSU because your defense is so bad but against any competent defense he's good for anywhere from 2 to 3 turnovers a game. Time for the experiment to end.

Won't he be the first Alabama QB that played multiple years that did not win a National Championship in about 15 years?
