Yeah Bama basketball has never made the Final Four

It's surprising to me that Auburn fans think this final four was some phenomenal feat. I mean, if you did it on the regular, like Kentucky, then yeah, it might indicate your program will be an annual contender, but it's your first and only one.

As for the fact that Alabama hasn't been to a final four, it's true, but in 2004 (you guys are still whining about 2004) Alabama advanced to the Elite 8 and lost, I think to Connecticut. So one less game than Auburn played and lost this year. Alabama hasn't become a yearly contender in basketball and my guess is Auburn won't either. Alabama is, though, an annual contender in football, so we got that going for us.

Spoken like the fan of a team that’s never made the Final Four.

Did you also get a chance to discuss Clemson football?

hell, any comment that doesn't agree with everybody is judged to be a melt on this board. Kind of juvenile. It sure doesn't make for a real discussion.

it will be interesting to watch how quickly you guys become anti Dabo fans if he replaces Saban.

No, Tua took his job because Tua is a better QB. Pretty simple.

Hurts is a better football player than the mighty midget ever thought of being at whatever second rate college he attended. Seems like A LOT of bama players don't care for saban once they are away from his abusive behavior. Now that he got blasted off his pedestal maybe the players will realize they can go to Clemson or other teams and achieve all their college goals without having to listen to a twirp with Napoleon syndrome. Before the rednecks get their collective panties in a wad, yeah Ark sux at football doesn't change a damn thing.

but as to the topic, Hurts and any college football fan should realize that Tua is just a better qb. In fact, he set the record last year for Passing rating, though he was injured half the year, then injured an ankle early in the UGA game.

If jalen doesn't come in the sec championship game, then Georgia wins the sec last year.. I'd be more appreciative of the guy that gave everything to the program and just wanted a chance to play like everyone does.

Tua already had the injured knee, but then injured an ankle in the first quarter vs UGA (for which he had surgery after the game), so he was playing with 2 injuries. It's no wonder he didn't have a great game.

Tua wasn't injured in the 2018 title game, and after Jalen was ineffective (yet again in a big game), Tua came in and won the national title.

Damn him for having fun!! Saban is such a prick.

Or, Saban is a football coach and not a professional photographer trying to teach players how to pose for the camera.

He also isn't a dance instructor that wishes to teach players how to perform elaborate, choreographed dance routines replete with music and dance partners after scoring a touchdown.

There isn't time for that just to "celebrate and have fun".

The players are there to play football. If they want to dance or study photography or how to do sexy poses for cameras, I'm sure there are classes for that away from the football field.

Did anyone bring up Norfolk State?

At least Auburn didn’t embarrass the SEC this year in football, baseball or basketball.

And you probably wonder why everyone hates your fans, except the Faggies of course.

The problem with Jalen's butt-hurt statement is that Saban would not have been angry.

If Saban had arranged for a team pose/photo after a touchdown, as the Oklahoma coach did, why would Saban be mad?

It's very clearly an organized event and was planned. The head coach of Oklahoma, I don't know his name, arranged for this to happen.

It's almost like a petulant bitch conceived the idea to create a photograph of the team celebrating after a touchdown, scored against themselves, as an opportunity to bash a coach of another team.

Frankly, this reeks of Big12'ish little dick syndrome.

I’d wager stuff like this had absolutely nothing to do with losing his job to Tua
