He was just saying past victories and stats don't win future games. /Thread

LSU Heisman winner Joe Burrow gave credit to OSU too. So there's that, but Hurts won't go there.

He's probably just annoyed with the Alabama questions / comparisons constantly.

STFU, and go find something else to amuse you besides a keyboard.

The Bama Nation laughs at all the LSU fans like you (thank God there are some reasonable ones!). Your hatred and obsession with everything Alabama is both amusing and sad simultaneously...like somebody who does/says something really stupid in front of a crowd, then makes a fool of themselves trying to explain it away. Man, get some help.

Burrow was constantly asked, about OSU. Joe's story was painful too, but he deals with it.

He's tired of being asked comparative questions about Bama and Oklahoma. He's been tired of it all year.

LSU’s facing Ala’s former QB in the playoffs, so the post is relevant. The only obsession here is Bama fans towards LSU, the SEC’s most complete team is LSU. I can understand the obsession.

I'm sure Hurts has deep feelings for Bama.... He did win a national title there you know. Joe has already answered about how he feels about his former team and coach.. Fields situation is a little bit different than the other (2) but he is still a Georgia boy.

Jalen is 100% Crimson Tide. He's not going to be baited into saying anything negative about his alma-mater or it's coach. He doesn't want to compare his experience at Bama with Oklahoma, which seems to be a fascination "journalists" want to explore for some reason. It annoys him. It annoys me too.

Agreed. The reason the journalists want to explore it is that it's natural to want to probe someone for information when they have such a unique point of view. For that reason, I don't blame the reporters. I think Jalen has handled the frustrating questions extremely well.

I don't think painful is the correct word here.

Jalen isn't dumb. He never falls for the trap questions when reporters are trying to get him to say something they can misconstrue as controversial. He knows what they're trying to do.
