Bama could have a combination of Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady behind center and you'd find some area to criticize them
Completely false. I was always a huge fan of McCarron. Every Alabama fan on this board can back me up on this. Also, I never had any issues with Blake Sims as a QB. Sims had his fair share of flaws but he was a solid QB for the most part. If Hurts was as competent as Sims, I would leave him alone. But he's not. He hasn't shown any growth or improvement as a passer. He is a one-read quarterback who can't go through his progressions to find an open receiver when his first option is taken away. If the pocket isn't perfect, he either takes off and runs, moves out of the pocket and throws it away or dumps it off to the closest receiver for a minimal gain. I legitimately hate watching Hurts play QB.

Look at everything that went wrong with that game and anyone who can take off the crimson goggles can see exactly what the problem was.
Playcalling sucked. Our RB who was trouncing their defense broke his leg. Tony Brown can't cover Hunter Renfrow. Averett got abused by Mike Williams. Receivers dropped four or five easy catches.
Hurts didn't play a good game but to try to place sole blame on him is bullshite. I'm certainly not gonna hold it against him that he was unable to outperform a first round draft pick at QB throwing to a top ten draft pick at WR with a top 5 defense in the nation.

Apparently, you were not paying attention to the actual score of the game.

Jalen is a liability and if comes down to bama winning through his passing game, they'll lose every time.
