What Happened?
Declan Sullivan, a junior film student from Long Grove, Illinois, was killed when a hydraulic scissor lift he was operating toppled over during strong wind gusts—estimated up to 53 mph—while filming football practice on October 27, 2010 .
Sullivan had tweeted earlier in the day:
> “Gusts of wind up to 60 mph today will be fun at work … I guess I’ve lived long enough,”
and later, “This is terrifying” once the wind picked up .
