If we're talking about talent, I contend that Hillis was still better than Hester in college. If we're talking about accomplishments, Hester blows him out of the water (in college). In the NFL, Hillis wins in every conceivable measure. Is Hester even in the NFL?

Hillis is the most obvious juicer in the NFL not named Clay Matthews.

Take a damn good look at that national championship photo with Hester in it! Notice who ain't in it? Hell even you can figure that out! Hillis is one hell of a football player and I really like him. Always thought he was under rated and over shadowed by the other two fantastic backs y'all had, but you should just get a red dildo and play with it constantly your such a damn homer. Your LSU inferiority complex is bigger than the damn empire state building! Jeez!

He's a starter in the NFL. That's a hell of an accomplishment.

He was a good rookie season away from Ryan Matthews from being cut.

Tolbert never would have switched positions, thus winning out the FB position over Hester...

This is the consensus, I think.

That was a great backfield that Arkansas had. Hillis could not have done what Hester did, but he was probably more talented.

In the NFL, Hillis is obviously better.

Huh? There's no reason to think Hillis couldn't have been a good, full time running back in college. Could he have done what Hester did for LSU? Absolutely. But he was at Arkansas.

As has already been mentioned. Hester had more team accomplishments, but Hillis is more talented. Easily.

I think you meant to say individual instead of team...and no one really ever argued Hester as being an all-world talent, by talent measures Hester never should have seen the field at LSU.

In college, easily Hester. In the pros, easily Hillis.

I wouldn't laugh yet, if Mathews shows up this year, they probably will move Tolbert back to FB...

They both have great motors, have football speed, are gym rats, gritty, tough, scrappy, and are like coaches on the field. Did I miss any white athlete attributes?

Hopefully he meant that Hillis could not have done that in college because he had to split carries with McFadden and Jones. Not that Hillis wouldn't have been able to duplicate what Hester did at LSU if they switched places.

Ikeem Means won a National Championship. Does that make him better than Eric Berry?

Hester is definetly a better fullback than Eric Berry.
