Really impossible to answer your question though. Miles' friend clearly intended to shoot at the lady's boyfriend, and the boyfriend clearly sought out Miles and his buddy for an altercation (he pulled up after Miller), so it seems obvious something was going to happen regardless.

complete concern-trolling, hand-wringing, virtue signaling Karen. I'll agree with you there. Flashing a gun does not come anywhere close to a guy who brought back a gun to a gun's owner. That happens everyday in this country many many times. It's not illegal. It's actually admirable and is 1000x better than stealing the gun from the owner.
No one bats an eye about it unless they believe they have something to gain.
