Les said it was cause JJ was better equiped to handle the pass rush.

And isn't that reasoning kind of a slap in the face to the OL? The pass rush was too great for him to feel comfortable to bring his pocket passer...ouch. LSU has a great offensive line; they should have been given a chance to show they could protect Lee instead of Les just assuming they and Lee couldn't get it done. Maybe Lee comes in and sparks the team to make the game more competitive or maybe he goes down in flames worse than JJ. I wish we could have seen.

JL could throw the deep ball and stretch the D out. If we decided to stay with the short routes he is much better at his release and timing routes.

Well played. You sure know how to rile up the LSU fans.

Wasn't me this time, but I've found that is not particularly hard to do. Well done though, I agree.

JJ 78 career sacks vs 21 for Lee. JJ's ability to avoid the rush is bullshite.

I get some of those were option runs for no gain but it kinda makes the point about Lees quick release and confidense to pull the trigger on timing routes.

Actually runs don't count for sacks..

Lee's sack % on dropbacks is around 2.5%, JJ's sack % is about 14%.

Yet another Les explanation, along with the "Dual Threat" myth, that LSU fans have whole-heartedly bought into over the last two years.
