Actually LSU said the whole time there were abiding by the rules and were in constant contact with the SEC office so there was no blinking with that situation...that was why it has always been a moot point...

Yes. LSU was always wanting to do what was right. And the SEC, out of nowhere, said "You gotta follow the rules."
And Lane said "We will follow the rules and will not try to add any NFL players to our roster."
And LSU cut ties with the players suing Sankey and the SEC.
And before week 1 Lane handed in a full roster of 105 players and none were at NFL preseason camp.
And at halftime of game 1 Lane said "We're gonna go with who we got. We're gonna follow the rules."
And mean old Sankey said "No LSU, We're gonna vote to kick you out,"

The LSU brand has had nothing but attention for 2 weeks. After the annihilation of Clemson, the entire national narrative has been on LSU's side. Seems like it's only strengthening the brand. You expect us to be upset at an idol threat with no teeth? This has been fun. You idiots have been melting. Keep doing so, it's entertaining
