I’ve seen enough. Cignetti is doing this with mostly kids who never got a look by big time programs. A NC win for them will be like 3 Saban NCs.

I mean, he’s on pace to surpass Saban, too. Agree?
No. Cig will be collecting social security checks in a couple years.

Good luck with that...38-3
We went 1-1 in the playoffs. How did ND do in the playoffs this year? Oh never mind they could not secure a g6 auto bid.

And not run into this Indiana buzzsaw.
Good Lord man have a spine.
The only teams UGA has lost to the last 5 years have been explosive, dynamic offenses with multiple elite playmaking weapons, specifically a QB with wheels that can run as well as pass. The only real exception being bama this year.
I'm not saying we'd beat Indiana but good Lord there's no reason to be scared of them. Indiana plays the exact same kind of ball that we do, which we typically fare very well against.

When did Georgia fans become so soft? Now you are scared to play Indiana hahahaha

Kirby wants his buddy Bobo around as OC. That's his problem.
Might be KDB’s undoing. Bama needs to at least take a shot at Shanahan.

I don't buy the "Georgia is scared of IU" stuff. That's obviously a little tongue in cheek by a fan of one of the best programs in the country.
But it is fun to watch, isn't it ? What Cignetti has done, so quickly, at Bloomington of all places. Can he sustain it ? Are there things to learn here, going forward, about how to run a serious college football team ?
And no, he's not winning because Mark Cuban bought a roster. Just go look at the roster. Anyone could have had most of those players.
I think it's fascinating to watch. A real life "what if somebody did it differently" approach. FWIW ... I felt the same way, early on, about Saban at Alabama. If anyone cares to remember - there was already a push to go Air Raid or Spread in college ball. St. Nick said "no no ... we'll run and play action and pressure the line and stop the run" and won like nobody's business.
There is always a trend in football to do something unique and creative. And then somebody always comes along that just does what obviously works. I think those do what works guys should get their just due.

But Georgia would get destroyed by Indiana.
Pure speculation...
Georgia has not lost by more than 18 points to anyone since Kirby arrived on campus.

Cig has shot past Kirby as a HC like a rocket ship, it’s not even close
It's possible. So Kirby is #2...where does that leave DeFour?
You would have to think
#1-Cignetti (Beat the living daylights out of Alabama)
#2-Smart (2 national Championships)
#3-Day (National Championship)
#4-Sarkisian (Has won playoff game)
#5-Kiffin (Built Ole Miss...shoots past DeFour)
#6-Venables (2-1 verses DeFour)
Does that leave DeFour at #7? I mean his one good season ended with a 34-14 loss? I guess it's a good thing Harbaugh went to the NFL or DeFour would be at #8.

You've missed the playoffs and then lost to Notre Dame and Ole Miss in the last three years in the playoffs....the days of thinking you had a chance of winning a title are over....dont kid yourself.
Now do years 4 and five for Georgia, then compare to ND. Georgia seems to be closer to winning another title than ND is. Remind us all of how ND did in the playoffs this year?
It's been 37 years since your favorite team has won a title. Maybe you should sit this one out?

Why? The Alabama fan crowned him over Kirby Smart? Why wait to crown him over everyone else?
