Sorry homes. Those are the rules. He broke the first tackle and became fair game again. That's how it works.
If the other guys that got him down in the endzone weren't there and he would have had a long gain, it's the same principle. The play wasn't whistled dead on forward progress and he didn't have a hand on him in the endzone at one point.

He won some games at louisville because of their crap teams they played. They were never a serious national contender. He has done an ok job at Arky but your defense has still sucked balls while he has been there and that ain't gonna improve. He did do a good job getting you to the Sugar Bowl and Bama fans can't say a whole lot since we lost to Utah but you did lose to a team that has never beaten an SEC in a bowl game. Petrino is all hype and not a whole lot more. I will stand by this until he wins a title. You are not an elite coach in this league until you win something and he hasn't won shite but some games. Win a title and maybe he will be considered great.

I dont understand why people are ripping on Arkansas so much. They whipped LSU's arse up and down the field.

Blah blah blah. Arkansas should have won. Hell, the first play from scrimmage should have been a TD. As crappy as the Arkansas D was all year, they did a great job in the second half.

too much happened on the feild last nite to point fingers at one person...recievers dropping passes all night..defense forgot to get off the bus...and the killer was the blocked punt that should have been ran in for a touch down...which would have given arky the WIN.....they were like deers in headlights last nite.....too caught up in the hype...

My impression of the game was that Arkansas seemed a bit starstruck and overwhelmed by playing in such a big game like the Sugar Bowl. That might account for all the dropped passes and dumb penalties they made.
