Quick look at the defense:
DL:
Tim Smith
Dale / Oatis
Young / Eboigbe
Dale and Eboigbe are both all-SEC, but the only one who has the potential to blow up a pocket like Dareus/Barmore is Oatis and he is still a TF. Solid group. Very good group against the run, but not a group who can win a game by themselves.
LB:
Will Anderson
HTT
Moody / Lawson
Turner / Braswell
This is the best LB group in the country.
Potential #1 overall pick and the best defensive player of the Saban era in Anderson, Turner is on track to be a mid 1st rd guy and Braswell is on that track as well.
HTT is 1st team All-SEC and very cerebral, but can be had in coverage by TEs. Moody is smart and experienced with Lawson being the younger and more naturally talented.
DB:
Koolaid
Ricks/Arnold/Jackson
Hellams
Battle/Moore
Branch
Another monster unit. Every starter other than Hellams is at least all-SEC and three are all-americans. Ricks might be the best man cover guy in the nation and he's not starting right now.

Alabama will win by 4 TDs. Texas should concentrate on trying to beat Kansas this year.

According to who? The same brain trust that loses to Kansas on a consistent basis?

For what it's worth I think Texas might have the best group of offensive skill players in the country when healthy.
Curious to get your take on the OL? To me they are the key for your offense because its not fair to ask Ewers to take it all on if they can't get push in the run game or give him time to deliver downfield.

Somehow we found a way last year to keep Will Anderson in check
Good luck using a true freshman LT to do it. Kid is going have to grow up fast.

Huge question mark. But most likely just average. Lots of potential to be one of the best in CFB, however. The OL class we brought in last year with filthy. But like any OL, will take a year or two to get to that elite level.

Has Texas ever gone into a game expecting to lose by 4 TDs and think it's gonna be fun?

Get ready to hear your PA announcer mention his name a bunch.

Texas will at least cover the 20 point spread.
highly doubtful. I think bama wins in the neighborhood of 55-14

You pussies can't even handle a hand gesture during a football game without whining for the league to put a rule in place. Please, just stop with this nonsense.

I watched your coaches show highlights last night. Texas is in for an arse whipping. And I'm not a fan of Alabama winning anything.

OP I agree with you that Texas has some dangerous weapons on offense. I think Sark is able to use that and scheme Texas to 14-20 points. Alabama's defense is talented and experienced at all three levels this year. It's been a while since that has been true for Bama. Texas will not be able to turn this into a shootout against that defense.
That brings us to the problem, in my opinion, for Texas. Even if their offense can produce some moderate success, I don't think the Texas defense can get enough stops against Bryce Young and company. I'd be surprised if Texas can score more than 20 and I'd be surprised if Texas can keep Alabama from scoring less than 35. I'd be shocked if both of those things happened at the same time resulting in a close game. However, I don't think this is some 35+ point laugher either.
Bama by 17-20ish, never really feels like Texas is threatening to win.

. I’ve just looked at all the factors and I don’t see them running away with this one
We'll you may have skipped one factor then.
Saban, shows respect to his former acolyte when they show respect for the program.
He prefers 'running away' not be on the agenda.
The ball is in Sark's court. If he schemes like Lane (co-ed) Kiffin, the game will get ugly.
