Don’t do that to LSU. They need to win this game more than Ole Miss.

Why? Both teams have 1 loss, and LSU fans have become comfortable with Kelly and mediocrity. Ole Miss fans have higher expectations, so this game is more critical for us to win.

Hoddytoddy7, you do realize LSU has the number two ranked O in the country,
And we aren’t just marginally improved on defense. They are doing a lot better….just not the DB’s. Our DL is going to bring a lot of pressure against your beat up a line and gonna make Dart throw. As you noticed last week in the game without Tre out there, you couldn’t do shite. And dart couodbt connect on a long ball for the life of him. Don’t underestimate this team at all at night with revenge on their mind.

Ole Miss is the better team, primarily on the superiority of their defense over the LSU defense.

We'll see who wins.

You mean when Juice Wells fumbled going into the endzone, dropped another TD then Dart missed a wide open WR in the endzone? You saw what you wanted to see. Nothing I said was wrong. We could have had 14 more points easily.

We will be the best defense yall have played by a long shot. Yes your offense is ok, but USC, Nichols, UCLA and South Carolina aren't known for being the bastion of defensive powerhouses.

Of course they dont realize any of this. They dont pay attention to anything but Kiffin and his "SIP" pullovers. Let them stay ignorant. Not saying it equates to a win, but from what multiple ole miss fans have been posting, its quite obvious that they either have no clue what they are looking at or they just dont pay attention.

That a bad USC defense made your offense look average at best in LV? That Nichols and UCLA played you toe to toe and SC had you beat.

Why do LSU fans think their team is great outside of emotion?

You haven't played a defense anywhere close to ours and your defense hasn't stopped anyone all year. What do you want us to say?

SC gifted you TD’s early and you know it. Juice choked, think he’s not capable of doing the same at night in TS?

Do you really want to compare schedules at this point? You had an absolute cakewalk until the last two games and then you got exposed and couldn’t even beat Kentucky at home. What a joke. Our loss isn't worse than yours at all and we have played a tougher schedule. Yes, your defense is good, but won’t be able to stop us like other teams they have played. Our OL is waaaaaaay better than any other your DL has faced.

It’s been since 2008 since you’ve been able to pull it off in TS but yeah no worries you got this in the bag

Congratulations on being tied for 66th best defense in the nation (only giving up 13 TDs against inferior competition). We are so terrible with our 12th best defense in the nation (Abysmal record of giving up 3 TDs on the year).

Yes, 66th compared to what was it probably 115 last season? That’s obviously a much better defense and they’re only getting better each week. We have some impressive new coaches on that side of the ball, check out Missouri’s defense, and how they look now without those coaches. Keep living with your head in the sand buddy.

Why did you lie about your offense? In no world have you been ranked the #2 offense this season, by any metric.

My first vivid recollection of college football was Jake Gibbs rolling left to score the winning touchdown against Rice in the 1961 Sugar Bowl. I can remember some pro games (like Baltimore v New York in 1958) college was a bit later. I feel like I should have remembered the Billy Cannon run but I guess it was before my time. Not much good radio back in the 50s.

Never said it was great. But ole miss isnt just going to roll in and dominate like ive seen several say. LSU is has improved every week. And losing a player like Perkins is never a good thing, but it seems to have taken a little pressure off of the coaching staff and is allowing them to focus on the unit as a hole and putting the pest players in the best spots instead of trying to fit Perk here or there and filling in around him.

Good job shutting down the high schools you played. LSU has the #2 offense in the country. This isnt Wake Forrest. And the ONLY time you played anyone with a defense you lost. At home. To Kentucky.

Allowing 21 points a game is manageable with our offense. And as I mentioned, they are improving every week. They are a SIGNIFICANTLY better unit than last year and THAT group pushed ole miss to thier limits last year.

I think this is a toss up game either way. But if your team rolls in with the attitude that I see from a lot here its going to play out the same way it does every time yall have a decent season and go up against LSU.

All you have to do is look a few lines up to see that this is complete bullshite.

Why do you think you have the #2 offense? By no metric are you a top 5 offense.

Emotional take

Based on SP+. Which is going against the powerhouse defenses of USC, USC, NIchols, USA and UCLA. I would wait a little while longer to say your offense is elite.

When you have a DT as dominate as Kentucky has come talk to me. SC is supposed to have the best D line in the country and didn't have a ton of trouble.

That is your opinion. I've watched a lot of LSU and I disagree. I think we will find out Saturday night.

The good thing is we played a crappy game against SC. If we played great I fully expected us to lay a dud.

Not at all. It was quite evident in the last game played.

You are in zero position to rag on anyone's schedule up to this point. Have some self awareness.

SC has 2 potential first rounders on their DL and you had a nice game against them. LSUs OL held up against them as well. But this is the first time I have ever seen anyone pimp a Kentucky DT LSU's DL has been improving significantly and is turning into more of a strength than anyone anticipated.

Its not opinion. The stats objectively support this. You can disagree all you want. Youre still wrong

According to SEC only stats.

Scoring offense
Ole Miss - 4th
LSU - 6th

Scoring defense
Ole Miss-2nd
LSU- 13th

That tells me Ole Miss is the better team so far. That being said at night in Baton Rouge will be a test for sure.

I say our defense travels and our offense does enough to get a W.
