Is that list supposed to help or hurt you claim? Because 2002, 2004, 2009, 2011, 2012 are ugly as sin, and that is 1/3 of the total years you posted.

Fournette will end his career with 100+ more carries than anybody Alabama has had during the Saban era. So, he should rank higher than any of them on an all-time yardage list.

It's not like he's just going to sneak in the top 10. There's a legitimate shot that he ends up in 2nd place.

The fact that Ingram and Henry didn't finish in the top 10, with 572 and 602 carries respectively, is a bit of a surprise to me.

Three tidbits that supports Auburn's case as RBU:

Auburn has had 38 RB's drafted in the NFL draft.

Auburn has twice as many SEC leading rushers as any other SEC team with a total of 16.

We currently have an SEC record of seven straight 1000 yard rushers.

List the 1k yard rushers for Alabama in that same time frame.

It doesn't hurt Arkansas.

As stated by ESPN when they named Arkansas RBU, Arkansas led the league in 1k yard rushers in that time frame.

13- 1,000 yard seasons from 2002-2015

Just guessing, I would assume Auburn is right with Arkansas during that time frame.

I mean, he is going to finish his career with 775 carries. If a great back gets that many carries he is going to be at the top of a lot of lists.

Yea, I mean Henry averaged 5.97 ypc for his career, Ingram averaged 5.70 ypc.

Then this whole discussion shouldn't be about RBU

AU with 7 1,000+ rushing yard seasons since 2006, 3 less than Arkansas. Unless a Georgia fan wants to post their numbers, I think we all know the answer now.

Are you trying to include QBs with RBU?

LOL at this random time period.

2003 - Shaud Williams : 1,367
2004 - Ken Darby : 1,062
2005 - Ken Darby : 1,242
2008 - Glen Coffee : 1,383
2009 - Mark Ingram : 1,658
2011 - Trent Richardson : 1,679
2012 - Eddie Lacy : 1,322
2012 - TJ Yeldon : 1,108
2013 : TJ Yeldon : 1,235
2015 : Derrick Henry : 2,219

10 - 1,000 yard seasons dating back to 2002 (the random "this is when we got some good players" time period for Arkansas), including 2 seasons in which we had multiple running backs with 850+ yards (2002 and 2014). 2014 Henry had 990 yards and Yeldon had 980 yards.

We have 7 1,000 rushers since 2008 (the last 8 seasons).

Honestly, only by the grace of the jumbo package did we have 1,000 yard rushers in 2003-2006. We weren't a very good rushing team back then we just ran the ball A LOT.

Cry me a fricking river

Arkansas has had 3 seasons with 2-1,000 yard rushers

Whats your point? Other than you didn't have a 1,000 yard rusher that season?

Alabama just doesn't seem to stack up to Arkansas and Auburn when talking about 1,000 yard rushers over a lengthy time period.

Which is why, Arkansas was named RBU by ESPN.

Such a meh stat. It's like bragging about hitting .280. 1,000 yards means you averaged 77 yards per game over a 13 game season.

1,500 yard rushers since 2008 (115 ypg over 13 games)
Alabama - 3
Auburn - 2
Arkansas - 1
LSU - 1

1,500 yard rushers since 2006 (115 ypg over 13 games)
Alabama - 3
Arkansas - 3
Auburn - 2
LSU - 1

Man I'm just arguing with you to pass time until my next meeting.

Henry would have had to average 6.5, or so, and Ingram 7.0 to make the list.

I just wanted to piss in your Cheerios because the Arky fans arbitrary timeframes and constant changing of the criteria wasn't even worth arguing with.

Arkansas gets extra points for D-Mac alone, because he was the best college football player I ever saw (along with Cam).

I remember when Arkansas came in in 2005 with him and Felix as freshmen and they ran wherever they wanted to go (on a defense filled with dudes STILL playing in the NFL). That guy was amazing.
