Doak Walker Award? Who uses that to determine whether a running back is any good?

So, yea, those guys aren't gonna be on any all-time yardage lists.
Fournette split with MaGee and Hilliard his first year. Will also split with Guice next year.
He's likely going to end up on that list.

Did I mentioned that 2013 Auburn displayed the most dominant rushing attack in SEC history? From running backs, to wide receivers to quarterbacks...it was the all-time best rushing offense in SEC history.
4,596 yards, 6.3 yards per carry, 48 touchdowns and 328 yards per game...in the SEC. Against the best of the best.

Fournette will have been the feature back for 3 seasons.
Only 1 of our guys was the feature back for more than 1 season, and that was Ingram in 2009 and 2010. The rest were the 2nd or 3rd back for 1 year and then the feature back for 1 year.
Come on now.

His argument is number of years given a significant amount of carries not about splitting carries

That's cool, but we're talking about RBU, not Rushing Attack U.

So it's Fournette's fault he's better than other NFL backs while Bama's players can't say the same?

Well, Yeldon had more carries in 2013 & 2014 than Fournette did his 1st year. Yet, Yeldon's 2014 year qualifies as a "split" year for him.
Just sayin

Yeldon had 576 career carries, Lacy had 355, Richardson had 540, Henry had 603. Fournette already has 487 in 2 seasons and will end with roughly 750-775 carries.
And Derek Henry is 13th all time in yards on those 603 attempts. TJ Yeldon is 20th all-time. Mark Ingram is 23rd all-time. Trent Richardson is 29th all-time.
So, 4 all-time top 30 rushing stat leaders in the SEC in a 8 year period (not including Lacy who had many less carries than even those guys).

So, Fournette is going to do something in three years, while splitting carries for two of them, that most RBs in the conference, including Bama's stretch of great RBs, couldn't do in four?
Which is what I said from the beginning.

(a) Fournette is great. Is anyone arguing Fournette isn't great? I will say it again, Fournette is great.
(b) Fournette will end his career with 100+ more carries than anybody Alabama has had during the Saban era. So, he should rank higher than any of them on an all-time yardage list.
