Why are you going on a message board complaining about Ole Miss? Does your 1998 self want to kick your own arse right now?
I mean, think about it. Ole Miss has rustled your jimmies. Freaking Ole Miss. High school stadium, Independence Bowl champ...yes, that Ole Miss.
Ole Miss used to be a great road trip for you. You could go out on the Square on a Friday night, wake up to a great day of tailgating, get the early W on a Saturday thanks to a Jefferson Pilot kickoff time, and leave feeling pretty good about your experience. You would always leave with a great impression of the place, even ask out loud, "why doesn't this place win more? We all had a great time and Oxford is legit? What am I missing?"
We made a fantastic hire in 2011, going outside the box on a proven head coach at every level except the SEC. And we hired an AD that knew what he was doing that was not within the Ole Miss family. They both came in with a plan and executed on it.
Ever since 2011, your fun filled weekend in Oxford with a presumed W to add to your list has now changed. You are rustled. tFear is real. Ole Miss is a major power in college football and that will not change any time soon. Every time we post a gif of your QB throwing a pick six to Cody Prewitt, Andrew Ritter kicking a game winning FG, or your assistant coach trying to trip our All American cornerback after his picks off your QB, you die a little inside. When we went into the Superdome and completely destroyed Oklahoma State in lieu of a Sugar Bowl victory, and in the process crossed the 50 yard line on offense, you realize this isn't 1983 anymore.
The SEC is done, it's over.

It's funny, every time Ole Miss has had b2b 8+ win seasons since Johnny Vaught, the coach of that team has had Ole Miss on probation thereafter. Billy Brewer won 8 games in 1989 and 9 games in 1990. Just a few years later, Ole Miss was hammered with a two year bowl ban, a 1 year TV ban and severe scholarship restrictions. Houston Nutt and Hugh Freeze have both accomplished that feat, and Ole Miss' current investigation encompasses the tenure of both coaches. But who says you have to cheat at Ole Miss to be competitive?
Then how the hell are they not getting "repeat offender" status here?
It's a culture within the school now.

Why are you going on a message board complaining about Ole Miss?
LITERALLY stopped reading right there.
I think your autocorrect changed "making fun of" to "complaining about".
Do you really think we would complain about some of the best material you can get on a board populated by conference rivals? I mean, it's JUNE. There is a limit to how many favorite uniform, unrealistic expectations, and Saban/Harbaugh threads we can put out there. (Well, maybe not on that last one.)
Sure, baseball postseason is fun (for most of us), but even that has lulls between games.
You guys are like the Xbox for this place. No matter how bored we get or how many times we've gone jihad on zombies, we can always make the case to play you again.

Agree. Give it a try, Ole Miss.

We made a fantastic hire in 2011
fantastic based on what? Bama made a hire in 2007 and in 2008 won the west, in 2009 won the sec and natty. AU made a hire in 2013 and won the SEC and played for a natty same year. Florida made a hire in 2015 and won the east. What has Ole Miss done to justify this "Fantastic hire" claim (try to answer that question without saying "beat Bama twice")?

going outside the box
Outside of the box in terms of being proven? Yes. But you hired a guy with strong OM ties who you knew would crawl to Oxford for the job and would happily turn a blind eye to whatever you wanted to do.

You aren't even a major power in the SEC West yet. WIN something (ANYTHING) and then we can talk about you being "on your way". Win consistently and we'll talk about you "being" something.
You are delusional. Get that mirror. Look in it. It's a sad boy playing pretend.

You should NEVER say this stupid shite unless you actually win the SEC, or even make it to Atlanta, which of course you never have nor even came close. I can understand Alabama saying this, but not the puny weak runts of Ole Piss. Enjoy your sanctions though you cheaters. Sounds like it was worth it to you for whatever reason.
