Let me comment on the OP.
Saban is a GREAT coach.
But his message, being FEAR-BASED, only works at the highest level, for a few years.
He, like ALL great coaches needs to craft his message/methods a little differently, or he loses his locker room in big games.
He could go to PSU and start at step 1 with "the process" speech and all that, OR he will adapt and get bama winning the big games again like in 09.

You are probably right, but I just don't see him leaving Alabama for a lesser job (and that would be any job). He has to take the blame for the '10 and '11 teams just as he took the credit for the 08 and 09 teams. My guess is he will come back strong for you guys.

saban will head to penn st. if offered. while bama has a lot of talent, next year bama team won't be nearly as good as this year team. so he's not leaving a sec on nat't championship by moving. he can get talent to go to penn st and the competition is nonexistent. goal - only coach to win nc at 3 different schools. that would be history. won't be able to make history in the fiercely competitive sec.
