I understand all of that. It just seems many people are (stupidly) doubting the team after this one game. However we saw with Meyer, who let the job get to him, that he couldn't handle the losses. I hope Saban learns to keep his emotions more even keel so that he will coach here for at least another five years (contract through 2017).

There's no reason to trouble yourself with a rebuttal. My opinion of you has already been made. However, I will indulge you.

As many mistakes as Miles has made against vastly inferior competition, you should know that these men are only human. They make mistakes. Saban is both a great coach and a great recruiter. Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way. And since he's won a little over 80% of his games since he's been here, I would think he knows what he is doing.

By pointing out Saban losses? Miles only has 1 out of conference loss.

I forgot to add Utah for you

I'm not attacking him. All I'm saying is I hope he sticks around for awhile because I'm confident that in a couple of years the script will probably flip right back (it's all cyclical). However if he left after the next year or so due to the job getting to him, he won't have that opportunity.

By pointing out that:

A) Both Miles and Saban are human, they make mistakes, they lose games they shouldn't

B) You're retarded for believing that Saban is not a good coach. You don't win 2 national titles without being one.

Well, my threads about this keep getting whacked, but let me try again.

For several reasons saban isn't long at bama.

He's headed to penn state.

Haha, so true. Seems like we always have to I undefeated to win a title (other than that sports almanac year...). Maybe we get lucky this year and the cowboys and the cardinal both lose.

Remember, just 13 months ago a large percentage of LSU fans were ready to fire Miles on the spot! Fanbases at these two schools are setting records for ignorance and impatience.

no shite

fricking idiots

I've doubted miles a couple of times, but I've never wanted him fired. It was rough after that 8 win regular season, but other than that we've been damn good ever since he got here. With success comes entitled assholes who can put things in perspective.

Great recruiter, great BS seller and an average game day coach. (Pretty bad record in bowl games)

He will always have a top 15 team.

Did well at LSU but the way he left made me sick. He leveraged his position and "love for LSU" to wrestle more power from the Dolphins.

Paul Finebaum said today on his radio program that Saban is the best college football head coach.......until the game starts. Then Saban makes dumb game decisions.

Dubose beat Spurrier twice in the same season in '99.

Just sayin'.
