Whats a DVD grandpa?...
Queen and Debo Jones are much better comps as to what Perkins may be able do as a linebacker. He's only about 10lbs lighter than their LSU playing weight. Hopefully Baker will be able to work his magic and turn him into a workable inside lb....

Nice write up...thanks. One suggestion, putting player and coaches names in bold print makes it a little easier to read....

They seemed to have forgotten what a mixed bag Bama was between Bear and Saban. They pretty much cycled up and down like everyone else....
I would imagine that their decision to return was a big factor in Lunsford's retirement. ...

What excites me the most is our offensive line. Its been a very long time, if ever, that we have been this talented on the OL. What an offensive line does for the future is smooth things out if you have an off year at qb or the skill positions. Great offensive lines are what win championships!...
The scenario I was imagining is that LSU and Ole Miss win out and Bama loses only to us...making everyone 7-1. After reading all the tiebreakers it looks like it would go all the way down to "G". Ole Miss east opponents are GA and Vandy and their likely cumalative record will be 8-8. Bama has TN...
The head to head would be even, so what is the next tiebreaker?...
Whether or not he is better than LJ was at this point in his career is an open question...but Lamar Jackson is a great comp for who JD reminds me of in playing style. ...
I'm 66 years old and a lifelong LSU fan. The two LSU athletes that made the biggest impression on me the first time I got to watch them live were Cecile Collins and Chris Jackson. They were just so different from anyone I had ever seen in an LSU uniform and they left a lasting impression. I loved th...
Bama and TAMU both have more talented DL's than FSU...they will be as good a test we have remaining unless we win the West....
