Fournette's longest run in two years in the league? Look it up. ?
Pretty sure LF had an 80+ yard run his rookie year. He was clocked as the fastest player recorded last season on that run I believe. 240 pounds and moved faster than any DB or RB in the league. Generational talent.

And Fournette drug the Jaguars into the playoffs. Let’s see what Chubb does with Cleveland his rookie year
Jaguars vs Cleveland, like that is a fair comparison.

UGA beats one of the worst teams in the SEC and all of a sudden start talking a lot of shite. Your team hasn't won shite that means a thing in decades. You are like the 13 year old that has his first beer.

No he didn’t. Yes he contributed but the only way a RB can drag a team to the playoffs is by running for 2K yards like AP did in 2012 when he won the MVP. The Jags no.2 ranked defense had much much more to do with it. They were also top 2 in the NFL in sacks and TOs forced.

Chubb is CLEARLY better than LF
Hell TJ Yeldon is better than LF

Here’s what PFF had to so on LF “monster” rookie year:
quote:
Leonard Fournette’s numbers are also a concern, for similar reasons. He didn’t post a high rate of 20-plus-yard runs, but these runs did make up a significant percentage of his total yardage. Just two of his carries (0.7 percent of his total carries) make up 15.9 percent of his total rushing yardage. I got on my soapbox midway through the season and started ranting about a looming regression, after I felt fantasy owners were paying too high of a price for what I felt amounted to just two fluky 75-plus-yard runs. It turns out, I was right. If we strip out his two longest runs of the season, he falls from 18th-worst (3.88), to second-worst (3.29) in yards per carry — the largest drop among all qualifying running backs. As evident also by his below-average ranking in about all of the above statistics, Fournette’s 2017 was highly underwhelming, but his fantasy value was buoyed by two long runs, volume, and touchdowns

Boom. I think we're done here.

PFF never said they shouldn’t count. But if you know anything about stats, you know outliers can heavily skew the mean. A 3.2 ypc was more indicative of how his season went then a 3.9 (which is still below average).
They also did this for ALL RBs, and LF turned out to have THE largest drop off of any qualifying RB. I’m certainly not saying LF is bad, but he also isn’t a near elite RB like many LSU fans and fantasy owners think.

One isn’t, nor is he on pace to be.
He may not be on pace because he didn't get more than 3 carries the first 6 weeks. But to put things in to perspective, he's needs 421 yards to reach 1000. That means at his current average he just needs 11 touches per game over the next 6 games. Certainly doable, if not very likely.

The guy is a huge disappointment for the #4 overall pick. Not even a top 4 RB in his draft class.
Very disappointing in his first two years. To think the Jags could have gotten Kamara or Kareem Hunt for way cheaper and invested in a championship piece with the #4 pick.
Fournette will never win a championship.

Because he is.

He did face the most stacked boxes in the league. Though that was due in part to the Jags forcing the run and teams knowing this.

Again...the Jags had THREE wins in 2016
