It’s not obvious at all. LSU came out of the losers bracket to win the natty last year and it’s happened many times before last year too. Slow down grasshopper, let’s see how it plays out. But go ahead and bet $100k on it if it’s so obvious.

Actually A&M is down a starting pitcher due to injury and having to play at a very high level relative to their season play. So I am not confident at all.
Once Prager pitches today, we are forced to go back to pitchers on just a couple days rest. Granted we only pitched them 3 innings but we are having to go to our bullpen early due to an injury in the rotation.
Not saying we can’t make it happen, but it’s not as certain as it appears.

FSU lost their 2 best Pitchers beginning of the season. Link has done a masterful job with this team, but he does not have the bullpen to win it this year.

Honestly, the cards are stacked against us to win it all. Imagine Florida playing without Jac but somehow still winning it all.
Now add in a starting pitcher too. It’s a big ask. So far we’ve had some good breaks and things have worked out well.
But if we lose, it’s probably not because we shite the bed. It’s probably going to be because we really need the players that aren’t playing.

Yes, A&M has already acquitted itself this year. no shame at all whatever happens from here. Losing its #2 pitcher mid-game regional, and its top player, is a gut punch.
