Was he pushed by a bama player? In case you dont want to admit it, yes he was. So of course he was less than a yard away.
The officiating at the beginning of the game was pretty horrendous. It got better as the game went on even though they refused to call holds play after play. (Let me guess, Im "butthurt" right?)

The second guy #8 wasn't pushed into him and he did touch Jones and the ball before it touched the ground = 15 yard penalty. The only other play was the Eifert catch which he didn't have FULL control of the ball till he was out of bounds.
