It's been fun, but lets be serious. LSU is top 3 in SEC and cannot be removed.

Bama is Bama and UGA will be fine as long as Kirby is alive. Outside of that, no other SEC school has shown that they are capable of turning a football team into a contender at any given time.
As good as Texas and Oklahoma are, even they usually falter on the national stage
Auburn found a generational player and Florida and Tennessee are just spinning their wheels.
LSU can just put a team together like no other lately

LSU has already de-escalated and I expect we will continue the season normally.
Lane wanted some depth and he rode a fine line to get it, but ultimately never pulled the trigger.
It should end here unless Sankey really is doing this because his feelings are hurt.

It has been de-escalated. But one thought gives me pause…
What if it’s not Sankey doing it?
What if the ADs decided to meet and still want to meet?

Stuff can and has changed in a hurry.
Alabama was spinning its wheels for nearly a decade before Saban. UGA couldn't get over the hump with all those Richt years. LSU paid Kelly to get them nothing. Tennessee spent more than a decade as a 5-7 to 7-5 team.
Nothing is forever and nothing guaranteed.
But I agree LSU was never at risk of getting the boot.

Then you should all fire your ADs

This is all smoke to try and get some control over cfb back. LSU and Sankey have already talked behind closed doors.

It is all a waste of time at this point, which is why I say to expel LSU.
Everyone is arguing from some moral high ground of maintaining the integrity of an amateur league while having a roster worth $40 million and more transfer players than student athletes.

I said this last night - weather you like LSU or not - LSU is more valuable than at least 10 other team in the conference, and that number is more likely 12-14. the SEC can't shake a stick and replace that value. the SEC without LSU is less valuable to the other 15 institutions than the it is with LSU. which is why I can't see Greg Sankey surviving this in the long run.

The SEC could go out and get FSU, Miami, or Clemson or all three and replace LSU tomorrow

except they can't afford to buy-out the ACC GoR.... which is why they arent in the SEC currently. and FSU, Miami, and Clemson aren't in the same level of value as LSU/Texas/Alabama/UGA/A&M.
