He literally said on tape he made a "strong arse offer" and should have included the runner instead of the family. I mean

Again, he's saying that he discussed the offer with the runner and not with the player. If he is asked if he paid a player or made a player an offer, he can say no because he isn't the one dealing with the player. If the question is phrase if he arranged a player to get paid, then he would have to answer yes to that. That's all I said.

If you're not going to follow the thread and read what people are actually talking about, you're gonna come out looking silly. I didn't even remotely hint at what you're saying here. A couple people posed hypothetical questions to Will Wade that I said he could say no to. That's it.

Dude. They've got him on super secret video recordings.

Mr. Wade, did you at any time acting in the capacity of a representative of LSU, facilitate through an intermediary to arrange inducements of any kind that would fall outside the established rules and regulations of LSU/SEC/NCAA to provide impermissible benefits to a prospective student-athlete, their parent, legal guardian, or the intermediary in exchange for the prospective student-athlete's acceptance of an athletic scholarship to LSU?

Mr. Wade, did you at any time act as a representative of LSU and while doing so did you enter into a negotiation with the assistance of an intermediary, arrange inducements of any kind with a prospective student-athlete, their parent or legal guardian in exchange for a prospective student- athletes acceptance of an athletic scholarship to LSU?

I swear the level of trolling and shite talk on this board reminds me of middle school. At least get your facts halfway straight.

Exactly. If they ask him like that, he will have to say yes. For the record I never expected a lawyer to ask Wade directly on the stand if he personally made an offer to a player.

Who's trolling? It's all on Super-8 film. Here's another view of him counting the money out.

Well I would hope you are otherwise that means you think Wade is on video paying a player.

Will Wade will, most likely, be reinstated after his April testimony although I think that trial is not going to happen. (Plea bargain)

What are they waiting for to fire him? They might miss out on scooping up Johnny Jones for a 2nd run.

I would love for that to happen, but I'm not expecting him to be back. If that happens, great. But, I'm just not gonna set myself up for disappointment with this. I think there's a low percent chance that he could be back, just not expecting it to happen.

I don't think Wade will ever have to get on the stand and answer anything. Has he even been subpoenaed yet? And even "if" is subpoenaed, the defense would be foolish to bring him in for testimony (IMO.)

Wade used poor judgement in venting his frustrations to Dawkins over the phone. But I don't think he made a direct offer to a recruit, he didn't have to do that when a middleman was there to provide insulation for him.

But was it damn strong insulation?

Yet to be determined.

Can any coach truly trust what are basically street agents pimping kids to the highest bidder? The 100% knowledge and full participation of the kids parents?

I don't believe so.

Several LSU fans have had the same opinion because they're saying that a pissed off Wade makes a bad witness for the defense. The wire tap conversations weren't allowed by the judge in the first trial. I'm not educated enough in how all of that works to speak on why it would be admissible evidence in this case or not with this judge.
