It’s a good sign when you have a shitty season but still make the NCAA tournament

Well no shite. Auburn was historically perhaps the worst basketball program in the entire conference before Pearl arrived. What he has done to revive that bottom dweller, cellar living program is remarkable.

Pearl has done a good job there, but it speaks more to how far SEC basketball has come as a whole more than Auburn alone.

It doesn’t mean anything at all

It just makes you a disappointing team with a season extended by 4 days

it really is. auburn, kentucky, arkansas should all be optimistic. all it takes is making the big dance.

is that more disappointing than being a 2 seed, and getting eliminated by bradley or bucknell in the 1st round?

Nice reach there

Had to make up a fake seeding scenario and go back to the 2000s

All I heard from Aubs in October was "Thank God for Bruce" and some chatter about some Europe trip the basketball team went on because football sucked.

This year was a huge disappointment that culminated today with Bama winning both the SEC regular season and Tournament titles.

The girl on the far left, near the end of the clip.. staring out away from the action kills me every time.
