The football stadium at the University of Tennessee, Neyland Stadium, is named for a former coach who refused to compete against college teams with Black players. Robert Neyland, who was Tennessee’s football coach and an administrator until 1962, also “verbally abused” a Black student for attempting to try out for the basketball team, the project report said.

Yeah I feel for ordinary Tenn fans if this happens, but frick Proot. I still don't understand how he can sell team merchandise (to benefit a private org) if the OSU players couldn't benefit from selling their autographed gear

Honestly I’m cool if it shuts down. It’s been a complete shitshow the past decade.

A&M getting double screwed since Robert Neyland was an Aggie. Two Aggies' names in danger of being stripped off SEC stadiums.

Change the name to Volunteer Stadium or Ol' Smoky Stadium and be done with it

I would love to see an SEC Program change the name of their Mascot to "FC", like the University of Mississippi Football Club, and have the games be played at Mississippi F. C. Stadium
I'm not a Soccer fan, but that would be cool

If CFB in it's current format is able to have 70 Programs pay their HC at least $3Million per yr and the Top 10 of those HCs get paid at least $6million per year.......
Then SOMEWHERE someone is gonna find a way to adapt CFB to keep it going and to keep all that money flowing to pay all those HCs and ADs
All those smart guys that made Billions in other industries and then spent billions on NFL Franchises to become owners, you think those guys are gonna allow their multi-billion dollar investments to just evaporate in 10 or so years?
American FB at the HS, College, and Pro Level isn't going anywhere
