Media would be praising his gutsy call.

What’s bad about it most is the actual played attempted.

DeBoer will naturally lobby for Bama to get in, as he should. Saban used to do the same. But Bama really doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs with that horrible performance yesterday. They looked legit after the FSU debacle until the latter part of the season. One bad game isn't a big deal but several in a row is a trend and yesterday Bama hit rock bottom. Better luck in '26.

I agree. Just thought saying “guys we were getting our arse kicked” is a weird arguement. He shoulda focused solely on the resume itself and acted like that shite never happened.
