Um... are you okay, BigBro? I'm serious. Your attitude towards me has changed drastically, and I'm not sure why. You certainly never accused me of having an "agenda for the day."

No, here is where I say, "Oh. I didn't realize it was just one publication that ranked us No. 1. Also, I didn't know Rice was considered the best college in Texas, but after doing more research, I see that that is the consensus. That's kind of cool."

I think it is more 'bang for the buck'. Rice is without question the best Academic school in the state of Texas.

1 championship in half a century makes you pretty resilient to criticism I’d assume

Texas A&M is a good academic university-- to say otherwise is foolish, irrespective of their weird, homoeroticism.

UT-Austin is a great academic university and the flagship in the state-- to say otherwise is foolish, irrespective of Austin's weird, overt liberal culture.

If my kid was an excellent football player and could choose his fate, I'd be happy for him to choose UT-Austin over A&M.

As it is, he's not. So I'd be happy for my kid to go to A&M as the back-up to play school in the chance he won't get into UT-Austin.

So your kid is top 7, 8, 9, or 10% of his class?

UT is top 6% auto-admit
A&M is top 10% auto-admit

Not that big of a difference.

Good luck to your son as he goes through the process. It’s a memorable time.

I told you that was a ridiculous bet, not sure why you did that, but if you wish for an Aggie fan to absolve you of it, consider this that moment,

I never left. I was posting right after the game and have been at least once a day since. It's just one game, and a game most rational Texas fans expected to be an L before the season started.

I was also vocal about the #1 ranking being pretty meaningless only halfway through the season, and I'd much rather have something to aspire to than only direction being to fall.

It’s shocking to know this and see some of the shite posted by Texas fans here. 1 top 10 final ranking in the last 15 years is wild.

Again, as an outsider, when I think of sports & Texas Universities, Texas is king without much competition, especially from 8&4

I wouldn't say 13 years is much older

More respected....
