Let us break it down further,

LF has 2.8 YAC per attempt

DH has 2.51 YAC per attempt

Except you are completely wrong. Nobody gets more YAC per attempt than LF

The knock on the heisman then was that a sophmore couldnt win the heisman. Tebow won it the next year as a sophmore.

Adrian Peterson had 1900 yards rushing as a freshman. The case was made against him being a freshman.

Imagine in Henry had all those NFL wideouts and the best QB and OL in the conference to help him out.

I don't think it will be based on this one game. If he disappears from here on out then yes. But if he goes back to running for 200 yards against everybody, I think it will come down to him and Henry.

I mean you keep saying I'm trolling but that is literally what the numbers you posted say. you keep moving the goalposts. that's what trolls usually do btw.

This thread took a shittastic turn somewhere along the way. The bottom line is if Fournette doesn't disappear the rest of the year and puts up 150+yds per game and LSU is siting at 10-1 he will win the Heisman. It's pretty much that simple.

Yep. No matter what LSU fans say, Henry deserves to be in this discussion. His numbers are less than LF because he didnt get the carries early in the year. Kiffin is finally feeding him. After this weekend, they will have two common oppents to compare too: MSU and Arky. It should be a clearer picture come Sunday

At this point the Heisman should go to bama's defensive front seven.

I was extremely impressed with them Saturday. No doubt there is no such thing as running up the middle against that crew. Will be fun this weekend to see how they do against stretch runs and read options to see if they have finally gelled and become a complete unit

Swap LF7 and Henry.. Henry running behind LSUs OL against the Bama DL probably gets shut out worse than LF7 did. Put LF7 behind the Bama OL vs the LSU DL and he's probably still running. There were several big runs Henry had the LF7 would have taken all the way.

The biggest reason Ingram won it was because he was the best player on the best team in the nation. He wasn't the best player in CFB. McFadden and Gorden weren't on undefeated teams, if they were they would've won it too. LF will for sure be invited but his chances of winning it dropped quite a bit because of his performance/LSU's loss. The Heisman doesn't always go to the best player even though it's supposed too. Due to this, Clemson's Watson and Henry, as of right now, seem to have a better chance of winning it.
Why are so many you desperate if LF wins it or not? The award is extremely overrated and most of the players are NFL busts.

But look at the flow of the games and be fair. There were games where Bama and Kiffin completely neutered Henry by not giving him carries. Backs like him and LF thrive on carries 15-25 more than anything

Until Henry is kept below 100 yards rushing for the 4th time of the season i'm sure.

That 2009 Bama team had Julio Jones and Rolando McClain.. both far better players than Ingram btw. It's one thing to snub a back like Gerhart because he played in the Pac10... I find it hard to believe that the heisman could go to the 3rd best SEC running back, though. Chubb is hurt so he's out obviously. Schedules are too similar.

I agree with everything you posted except this. According to the majority of books, LF still has the greatest chance. I think this Saturday is huge. If LF has 150+ against a great arky run D, the trophy will be his. If he gets contained for under 100, I think Henry becomes the clear favorite

Over 300 yards. Far cry from a measly 30

3 turnovers 0 TD

56 passes to get to 273 yards

also pretty meh Vs Florida that year.

He won because no one else was worthy and he had crazy stats.

Not because he won big games
