Mizzou in the East is one thing (yes, there may be others) that makes the SEC look really stupid...

Until you see some type of points system where a good loss to a big school is worth more points than a win by a big school over a little school, nothing will change in scheduling.

10 games is the only answer. 9 games and you have some teams with 4 home games and some teams with 5.

Why does LSU want an extra loss? The rest of the West can compete, but Coach Gumbo makes y’all into Troy state

At least LSU is 1-0 vs Auburn this year.

No big deal there, as every other year it would even itself out. Plus TXAM/Arky UGA/UF already play a neutral site game annually so they would have 4-4-1 with a nine game schedule.

One perm and two rotating would be best.

State schedule would look like this
KY - permanent

2018 - UF @UT @UK (@LSU, @Bama, @OM, TXAM, Arky, MO)

2019 - USCe @UF UK (LSU, Bama, OM, @TXAM, @Arky, @MO

2020 - Vandy @USCe @UK
2021 - AUB @Vandy UK
2022 - UGA @AUB @UK
2023 - UT @UGA UK

As you can see I just did the W schedule for 2018/19 as it stays the same year to year.

So over a 6 year period, you would play every E school at least two times. Works very well.
SEC should adopt this. Great schedule for the players and the fans. This of course has MO in the W and AUB in the E.

We’re not gonna let Saban and the gumps dictate how we should run the league by playing 9.

10 games it is.
