Yeah and she probably heard it from Robertson or someone that talked to Robertson, etc. Wait till a real reporter who is following the story reports it. This is twice today this has happened.

There is no way in the World Gene or Steve would put this on the front page of their Scout.com site without knowing it to be fact. This is not Twitter. Just give the kid the respect he deserves and for once lets not all try to be asses on the board. My sincere prayers are with The Bell family. THis is a sad day for the Bulldog nation.

Absolutely terrible. RIP Nick, you will be greatly missed and many prayers sent to his family

No matter how or when it was reported is not important here. Most everybody knew it was going to end bad either way and words cannot express the sadness I feel for his family. The Good Lord will take good care of this fine young man.

"Words can't express our sadness. Nick was a model student-athlete. Special in the classroom, on the field, and to those who knew him."

A memorial fund will be set up for the Bell family through the Bulldog Club.

God bless his family and friends. I can't imagine and pray that I will never have to bury one of my own children.

I had a uncle of mine who died of Cancer and I hate cancer worse than anything in the world.
I hope by the time I get old, that there will be a cure for it.

Sigh.
Life can be so utterly cruel and unfair. My heart breaks for the Bell family.
Rest in Peace, Nick.
