Bond was 100% loyal to Saban.

Saban is his coach tomorrow, he plays for Bama.

In the old days a player committed to the school, not the coach and honored the commitment.

Correct on the lease, and it's more like a one year loan. Ewers did Aston Martin starting with a DBX 700 and then moving on to like a DB 11 or something. It's just advertising for the dealerships, not actually giving 18-23 year olds cars worth a quarter mil or more.

Personally, can't wait for the 10th anniversary of this one.

That play deserves an outright banner. We might have gotten manhandled in the playoff and lost Saban in the process, we still got that monkey off our back. They cant show Kick six no more

I figured the Lambo was just a part of the NIL collective’s package but if you are making 1m a year and most of your essentials are already provided by campus, Aventadors and Huracans or Urases are nothing to lease or own.
Not tied to a collective. The cars are just one year loans from whichever dealership wants their cars seen on the streets driven by players, and in some cases they drive a certain model a couple months and switch to another. Not sure there's any actual money directly to the player in such deals, but the dealership picks up the ungodly high insurance tab for 18-23 year old males driving such vehicles.
