I see more Yankees and Red Sox fans hands down, no question.

This doesn't surprise me. So many northerners retiring and going to Florida, I would guess.

I used to know every player on the Braves team and watch them often. Then after the second strike, I quit. Now I may watch them if they make the playoffs, but probably just check the score. I live in Atlanta, and as of right now, could not name a single player on the Braves.

you honestly think the Atlanta Braves would object to the publicity?

Nah,but I think it's a a bit of an oversaturation especially with the pre and post game information 5 days a week but I honestly would be interested in seeing a different POV than the sunshine and lollipops you get from the Braves "team" of announcers and hosts

In Louisiana it's Saints vs LSU. I think LSU has more fans statewide because Shreveport has a lot of Dallas Cowboy fans.

First, you have no clue the local television that I am talking about

Like the dawg report with Buck Balooo on CBS46? Or the falconzone with DJ Shockley? THOSE local channels ? Fox5, Channel2 action news? There is absolutely zero need for one of those type of shows for the Braves as most fans watch nightly and they have that before and after the game. I know what youre talking about...but youre wrong

Then you either live under a rock and never turn on the news, or youre a liar. They have 3-4 household names AT LEAST.

Lol

I'm right that local TV supports the Falcons and Bulldawgs.

I'm right that they don't support the Braves.

I'm right that the Braves is a huge regional team with fans across the southeast and country. Their base is not centric to the state of Georgia (unlike the Falcons and Georgia which are not regional teams. Their fans are centered in Georgia).

I'm right that the Falcons fanbase at least doubles the Bulldawgs (likely more than that) and dominates local radio over every other team.

Another poster confirmed that College Football is the biggest sport in Georgia. Georgia is easily the biggest fanbase within the state.

When you pull your head out of Cobb or Fulton County (or where ever you live) and look at the entire state, you see that the Bulldawgs are the 2nd largest fanbase in the state.

You’re a fool if you think UGA is more popular than the Falcons and Braves.

Right.
Even down in Fayette County I see 80% Tech stuff & the rest is divided by UGA and Auburn

Thankfully UGA fans are the shite.
