re: Is Urban Meyer going to rat out other SEC programs?

Urban Meyer knows nothing of sportsmanship. After a loss he could barely shake the coach's hand and it was usually a drive by, and don't mention shaking any of the other player's hands.
He would never say anything positive about the team that beat him, he's just a big baby. After he had a bad season, he just decided to take his toys and go home. Why didn't he do that last year so Florida could have gotten a coach then. One that was interested in the program and wanted to do well. When everyone thought he was sick, they wished him well, but mouthing off like this about a profession that made him a rich man is not the way to start.

Only if he goes Coach Pete Bell a la "Bluechips" and grows a conscience

How didn't he have any integrity? I'm just curious because most other fans have a negative opinion of him and that's fine. It usually means he's beating you.

Any Florida fan that thinks Meyer didn't cut some corners of his own is crazy.
You don't recruit as well as Florida did in this league with so much recruiting competition without breaking some rules yourself.
I think that's one of the reasons he got worn down by this league. I think that he is Meyer was a principled man, and then he coached in the SEC and the desire to compete and win games became more important.
I'm glad he retired.

the word integrity is the issue
I have never seen anything to imply Urban cheated to recruit (although he was not afraid to negative recruit or try and sabotage a player who went somewhere else)...
but when he invokes the word "integrity" Urban does have a problem... because he did have a problem with arrests and bad behavior from Florida kids... if integrity was the primary concern those kids would have been removed from the team... not disciplined only when it didn't hurt Florida's football team

Bullying the media does not take integrity, trashy(although maybe legal) recruiting practices do no take integrity.

OK, I just wanted to see which of the talking points you were referring to.
ETA:
He went to far with the reporter and should have kept his cool. I've lost my temper too.
Trashy recruiting practices??? Which ones? Recruiting in the SEC is trashy and that is not changing any time soon I'm afraid.

Didnt listen to the interview but how in the hell does anybody infer that this is about Auburn and Kiffin besides the writer.
It is the most recent scandal but talk about putting words in someones mouth

exactly
everyone bends the rules, some maybe more than others but who knows.
It happens, EVERYWHERE.

If you get caught cheating... You're not trying hard enough.
LSU is clean because we just cheat better than the rest of you, and then when we do get caught cheating we insert one of our own into lead the NCAA.
That's how we roll

When your making the kind of money top coaches are making nowadays its win at all costs and Meyer can cry all he wants but if you don't like it, any coach would give anything to replace you at Florida. Muschamps left a coach in waiting gig at probably the best gig in the country to replace you.
Meyer was more afraid of the competition and when you go against the Saban's, Chizik's (Malzahn's), Miles, etc. it can eat you up if you let it.
People criticize Miles but at least he has perspective in a cutthroat job that he has. That's half the battle in longevity at a SEC school.
You don't think Saban's gonna get a little testy if Bama doesn't add another national title within the next 5 years or you don't think Chizik will feel some heat without another unbeaten run.

Ummm - Maybe folks inferred that UM was calling out AU & Kiffin because it was rumored that UM pushed MSU/Mullen to move forward to the NCAA when Slive sat on the Cecil Newton fiasco for so long. Also, UM had many issues with Kiffin during his time at UT - that was well known and Kiffin made sure he voiced his opinion of Meyer/Florida every chance he got......

Does anyone have a gif of when Meyer was supposedly told Kiffin left UT? He was in the stands of a basketball game or something I think
I laughed for about 5 minutes at his smug smile

Kinda like you Tiga fans warming up Miles rear-end the last few years. The pressure is on for LSU/Miles to make a run THIS year, IMO.

Does that mean what he said was about the two.
Here we go again making assumptions from infered statements. That is about the dumbest thing anybody can do.
And back to Meyer, He is the biggest whiner in CFB. He bitched about everything. Biggest pansie ever
