Meh...Let's all slow our roll. This tea hasn't won anything yet, let's wait and see how their season goes. Not only did 2019 LSU go undefeated but they embarrassed everybody from the SECC game on. They also garnered a boatload of team and individual awards for the season. Tennessee has a chance to "prove" how good they really are. Time will tell.

Game was played in slop mud, LSU outgained Auburn 508 to 287. Auburn had the best Dline in football.

Yards don't matter, points do.

Was 33-13 halftime

The fact you cite the half time score and not the final pretty much says it all.

quote:

Texas was decimated on defense with injuries after our game with them, including 3 of their 4 starting DBs. They still finished ranked #25 and 8-4. They would have given Bama all they could handle if healthy. Tbh, they were tougher than Bama.

Not even Texas fans would pretend they weren't a soft team under Herman.

7 point win is all you could muster up against 1 team THAT year. And here you are wanting to claim to be the greatest of all time.

quote:

Maybe, but we will never know because their schedule wasn't anywhere near as difficult as ours.

False, their schedule was just as difficult. They played 4 top10 teams in the regular season, and then kicked the shite out of Florida, and I don't mean kicked the shite out of them the way LSU fans mean it. They won 62-24 against an undefeated Spurrier Florida team with the Heisman winning QB.

Nebraksa was good from start to finish in 1995. They won the national championship in 1994 and was undefeated in 1994. They then carried that win streak into 1995, and dominated everyone they played.

Their closest margin of victory in any game all year was 14 points, and that was in a trap game. It takes LSU 3 of their closest victories just to get 1 point higher in the MoV.

2019 LSU would dismantle 2022 Tennessee in embarrassing fashion.
2022 UGA might beat them by double digits in Sanford

Tilman would have insane stats so far this season if he didn't get injured. Last year was his first in Hoop's system.

I think 2019 LSU was overall better but Tennessee is improving every game and definitely potent enough to beat them on a good day. Will see how we finish the season first.

Joe Burrow and that offense would have hung 50 on that Tennessee defense.

And Tennessee would have scored 51.
