Vols just won't have the draft numbers and this being a down year for most SEC teams.

Florida and LSU played in the Final last year. Both lost a ton of talent.

Tenner beat an injured A&M team. It's not very impressive. Both teams will be decimated by the draft.

SEC teams will probably carousel like this for a few seasons with the true Blue Bloods like LSU taking more titles than the rest of the SEC

In 48 hours we went from "ToNy cAnT wIn WhEn iT maTTeRs" to "well, this national championship was not impressive"!

Delicious. Just fricking gloriously delicious!

We have like one of the best recruiting classes coming in, including Manny Ramirez's son (provided he doesn't get drafted).

Expect the excuses or backtracking to keep rolling in.

Negative ghost rider.

Everyone didn’t play 30 SEC games back then. LSU had the highest winning percentage and won the regular season title in 1993. LSU won the SEC West Tournament and Tennessee the East Tournament

Actually much more difficult back then because you had to win a six team regional to go Omaha. That meant playing 4-6 games in a four day period. Much more grueling than today’s set up with a four team regional and a two team SR spread out over two weekends.

Nobody said the championship and the season was not impressive, just debating your claim that it’s the greatest college baseball team of all time.

So great, it took a lucky bad call in Game 1 to help
UT skate past Florida State.

So great, y’all beat A&M by 1 run while their best hitter sits in the dugout all CWS with a leg injury.

Yes….the greatest.

Well ya, no duh. The inland Floridian man cultural delicacy of huffing spray paint canisters isn't exactly a vitamin for your short term memory. So that checks out.

You only have 2 by the recognized selectors throughout history (AP, UPI, BCS, and now the CFP) all others are "claimed" titles...LSU has 4 by the recognized selectors...so don't worry you will catch up little brother...

Ya I gotta agree here. Being the stand alone 60 game winner of the baseball national championship in SEC history in the deepest and most stacked sport in the conference really does separate you from the rest of the pack.

This may very well be the first and only 60 game winning SEC/SECt tourney champion overall #1 seed national champion that the SEC will ever produce in our lifetime.

Honestly, no! It’s not even Tennessee’s best team. Couple years ago is actually better, but they choked.
