This is such a hilarious take. Basically its not a big game unless you are playing Bama.

Not what I said. I said that game wasn't as big of a game as this game is. It was a big game, but there are degrees of games. a "big" regular season game isn't as "big" as an SECCG. An SECCG isn't as big as playoff game and a playoff game isn't as big as the natty.

LSU has played in a couple of big games this year, but none that rise to the level of this weekend's game. To be fair, Bama hasn't either. My point was simply that this will have been the biggest game many of these LSU players have played in (due to the stakes). Most of the Bama roster has played in multiple games this big or bigger.

All of the Bama roster with the exception of true freshmen.

Yes.

The question is, is Bama?

You've used last year's post-season as an example of big game experience Alabama players have, but you're using the wrong games. In post season games, 33% of the tickets go to one team, 33% go to another and 33% are basically corporate. Rarely are you going to get much more than 50-60% of the fans pulling for one team. In tiger Stadium it will be close to 100,000 fans pulling for ONE team. The best example from Alabama's season last year would actually be the Auburn game. That was a true SEC road game in a hostile environment.

And as we all know, Alabama got their shite pushed in like the champions they are.

Has Alabama played in a game with as hostile an environment as they're likely to see this weekend? Not this year. Has LSU played as a heavy underdog at home against a top 3 team this season? Yes, and pushed their shite in. (No offense, UGA fans.)

In short, OP, you're doing it wrong.

You don't think the playoffs and title game was big game experience?

Played in Atlanta it had a heavy UGA presence. It would be like saying LSU plays in the Dome but the crowd wasn't partisan.

I mean I know 2011 was a long time ago but come on.

Not like the hostile environment you get in true SEC road games.

Keep telling your self that a "heavy UGA presence" in Atlanta is tougher than a night game in an SEC Big 6 venue.

No doubt Tua felt the pressure of a big game when he came in for the championship, but the atmosphere was nothing like what he'll get in Baton Rouge. Some players thrive in it, we'll see if Tua's one.

Now you're getting desperate. You think there were 100,000 LSU fans at the game in New Orleans in 2011?

No, I don't think you do.

Why do you think LSU is suddenly so much more battle tested than an Alabama squad
how many times have i answered this question

espn strength of record
lsu #3
bama less than that

sagarin s.o.s.
lsu #6
bama less than that

check out lsu opponents win percentage vs bama

some bama individuals may have rings/playoff experience but this bama team vs this lsu team - lsu's resume is pretty impressive
