I'd bet on it.

You think Mond is the best Jimbo can do?

Just looking at how much production they returned vs the rest of the division plus all of the coaching turnover last offseason, it wouldn't surprise me.

Jimbo's offense is too old school to win titles.

So the greatest season ever was his peak? Wow. So insightful.

Or he has really tailored his offense for Mond. King will be starting next year and is pretty incredible. 6’3 dual threat with a cannon.

Yes and it took him 3 years to get him to what we saw yesterday.

This is what he is able to do with two top ten classes under his belt. He will be peaking once he has 4 to 5. He is actually overachieving this year.

I still haven't understood why he didn't recruit someone to replace mond? Now you're stuck with King until he can get a decent QB to come in. Maybe a transfer from the portal?

Very little doubt about it. He is covering some severe deficiencies at QB right now.

“Stuck with King”

Not so sure that’s a bad thing. We’ve recruited a solid QB each year Jimbo has been here. It’s just tough for a freshman to beat out a returning starter. As Mond as much can be, he can be pretty good too. Look at the big picture and he’s still above average this year.

Why isn't he starting this year then?

O won a title in his third year as head coach.
