Texas A and M played in the SWC and Big12. These were expected to be juggernaut conferences and at some times, they were...but Texas A and M didn't win it much and weren't expected to win it when you have programs like Texas/SMU back then, and then OU and Nebraska more recent than that and it's hard for a second tier program to compete with that.

So I will go with West Virginia as being the team that I respect less than Texas A and M. They were given the Big East conference that had teams like Cincy/Lousville fill the vacuum of VT/Miami leaving and they still didn't dominate the conference like they should have. But allowing Connecticut to be your conference rep in the BCS/Alliance is unforgivable.

After VT/Miami left, WVU should have been the Big East's BCS rep 9 years in a row....they only went three times.

Ped St and Aggy are on par with each other in terms of cultiness of fans and underperforming relative to the pre-season hype they receive. Both are located in middle-of-nowhere wastelands.
