It would be very unlikely IMO for LSU to lose to Kentucky or Arkansas. Ole Miss is a toss-up yes. But Ole Miss' defense is also still terrible.
I don't know. LSU wasn't supposed to lose to MSU or a host of other schools last year either.

Who is betting that they’re both magically improved?

It doesn't take magic to improve. LSU lost the most production of any champ in the playoff era last year and then they had 3 COVID opt outs who were drafted on top of that (including a top 5 pick). O hired a coordinator past his prime who produced the worst D in LSU history. He brought in two new coordinators, so that should help if they are decent (which remains to be seen).

LSU has continued to recruit at a high level though and they're bringing back a lot of experienced talent as well as bringing in great young talent after finishing last season with Ws at Florida and against Ole Miss even with additional opt outs and injuries. LSU should be good this year.

Well LSU didn't lose to two of those three teams listed last year and didn't play the other, so there's that. Those teams must be pretty bad, right?

But but but Saban needed Alabama to be successful. These tools actually believe this.

You do realize that prior to 2007 when CNS was hired that UA had the highest winning%, the most SECC and NCs in the SEC right ?

No need to play the games. Just ask the Alabama rednecks what the outcome will be. They will tell you.

So LSU is hoping that a guy that has never been a OC before is their Savior on O and a guy named Daronte who hast been a DC in over 10 years since he was at Bowie State ?

Why would I be rustled about 2019 ? In 2020 UA when undefeated through a all sec regular season schedule and skull drug everyone in the CFBP ? Its easily the most difficult CFB season both on and off the field.

actually, Alabama pounded LSU last year even more than I would have figured.

55-17. That's dominated

If you go back over the last 10 meetings between UA and LSU, LSU is only averaging scoring 12.6ppg vs UA. This includes 3 shut outs by the UA defense
