You dip shite the offense was great last year. It was the defense that was shite. Jury is still out, but can’t get any worse.

Scoring 29ppg and having the 109th rated rushing attack is great to you ?

I really dont see why they think their Offense is going to be great ? Their OL was complete garbage last year...They had the 109th best rushing attack and they were 84th in sacks allowed. Did they bring in some wardog OL transfers ?

Last year they couldnt run the ball or protect the QB.

Should be fun to watch

7/8 wins games I think is where we will end up. I really hope we get back to our standard 10+ mark though. We have to be optimistic though, waited so damn long for another season to start

If the new coordinators are great, we will be fine. Otherwise, I might have to turn the TV off.

9 wins? One year after an asterisk season, and two years after the greatest team of all time? They need to give him an extension until we're in the SEC. I don't like that this pussy made up lies about our AC, ran away, then voted against playing OOC opponents last year when he was obviously going to get skullfricked after not interviewing his coordinators.

With no insult intended to LSU they are the biggest wild card in the West right now. They could bounce back and be great, they could absolutely mess the bed. They will probably fall somewhere in between but as long as they show progress from last year than I think the fans in Baton Rouge will be Okay.

Absolute truth. I agree with all of this and think most fans do too.

Then I listen to practice reports and podcasts about the defense as a whole and the new wr’s and rb's and I’m like

In the past I would say thats accurate, but not currently. The new AD Greg Bryne has revamped the whole AD and sports. Its why this happened....

So you're asserting that Alabama is gonna catch and surpass LSU in number of national championships across all sports any day now because CBSSports put you on top of a poll? That's what you're going with?

You are as far behind LSU in that metric as you are ahead in football record.

LSU just added another one 2 months ago, btw.

Good luck.

Make sure you fix it before Texas joins the conference. You seem like the kinda guy that would be blue collar--I'm sure they'll let you poke around there.

Wasnt trying to compare to LSU's record, was talking about UA is alot more than just a Football school now. The new AD has made some great hires across alot of the sports both male and female.

LOL. Your ugly purple and yellow (relevant for Orgeron) is showing

Can't really blame you LSU fans, though, for claiming to be Texas fans since Tx is, at least, a former blue blood

My take on LSU is a wait and see approach. I really like the addition of the new coordinators and staff. They are younger, solid recruiters, and the offense will be more like 2019. I really think the front four on defense will wreck havoc all year. Lots of depth and talent. The secondary will be very strong. The unknown on defense is the linebacker group. They have talent, just not a ton of experience. I’d be shocked if this defense doesn’t finish in the top 20 statistically.

The offensive line will very significantly be better in 2021. Plus the depth behind that first string offensive line is also making significant improvements thanks in large part to new offensive line coach Brad Davis. So thanks for your concern.

Nonetheless, not only will the run game be very significantly improved in 2021 but LSU's wide receiver corps is also as good as any other in the country or better. Again, thank you for your concern.

Oh yeah, Max Johnson is also pretty fantastic.

With respect to the defense, LSU's defensive line and secondary will be off the charts, and the linebacker corp will be very solid and deep.

LSU had it's worse defense in its 120 year history because they transitioned to the 4-3 defense during a Covid Pandemic season with no spring practice, no summer workouts and player run practices, and only an abbreviated spring camp. Hence, the defense was playing a 4-3 defense without knowing how to play a 4-3 defense and we all saw the result.
